Lawmaker Ademorin Kuye Grants 500 Free JAMB Slips

In a remarkable display of commitment to education and youth empowerment, the Member Representing Somolu Federal Constituency, Ademorin Kuye, distributed free JAMB slips to 500 beneficiaries through his Kuye Free JAMB Forms programme. The event, which took place at the Former Somolu Local Council site on Durosimi Street, Somolu, Lagos, witnessed the presence of enthusiastic beneficiaries, their parents, Kuye himself, and stalwarts from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Somolu.

Addressing the gathering, Kuye expressed his hope for the future, stating, “My joy would be when you all bring your admission letters as a reward for this gesture next year. The opportunity you have today, some people sought for it and never had it. So don’t take it for granted.”

As an additional support, Kuye announced the commencement of free coaching classes for all beneficiaries, starting from the following Monday. He emphasized the importance of parents allowing their children to participate in these classes to ensure they are well-prepared for the upcoming exams.

Kuye’s dedication to the education sector was further underscored by his heartfelt advice to the young beneficiaries. He acknowledged the challenges of passing the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams, likening it to a “spiritual battle” that serves as a gateway from secondary school to university. Drawing inspiration from successful individuals who emerged from the Somolu Bariga community, such as Nice, Olamide, and Tony Tetuila, Kuye highlighted the significance of education in their journeys to success.

In an effort to motivate the students, Kuye urged them to remain focused and committed, cautioning against distractions such as indulging in Premier League football during the crucial months leading up to their exams. He reassured them that success in JAMB would pave the way for them to join the league of achievers and make their mark in society.
