FCT Senator Ireti Kingibe Donates 2,000 JAMB 2024 Forms for Indigent Students

In a commendable move towards promoting educational access and inclusivity, Senator Ireti Kingibe, the distinguished representative of the Federal Capital Territory, has generously provided 2,000 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms for students preparing to take the 2024 examination.

This altruistic initiative, announced through a statement released by her Special Assistant on Media, Mbele Kennedy, underscores Senator Kingibe’s commitment to ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder the pursuit of education. The donation of JAMB forms comes at a crucial juncture, precisely two months after the examination body announced an increase in the registration fee for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to N7,700.

Scheduled to take place from April 24 to 29, 2024, the JAMB examination is a pivotal moment for many students aspiring to further their education. Senator Kingibe’s gesture is a beacon of hope for indigent students, signaling that their educational dreams are valued and supported.

According to the statement, the free JAMB forms are intended for students facing financial constraints, regardless of their background, tribe, religion, or political affiliation. Senator Ireti Kingibe encourages potential beneficiaries to devote themselves to their studies and exhibit exemplary conduct not only within the examination hall but also when admitted into university.

The statement read, “The free forms are meant for students who cannot afford them, irrespective of their tribe, religion, party affiliation among others. Senator Kingibe urges potential beneficiaries to study hard and ensure good conduct not just in the examination hall but also when admitted into the university. She also wishes beneficiaries and indeed, all candidates for the 2024 JAMB examination success.”
