Deputy Governorship Candidate Rt. Hon. Friday Osanebi Allocates N20 Million for JAMB Enrollment in Ndokwa Nation

Promises Inclusive Access to UTME Examinations and Scholarships

In a remarkable display of commitment to education and youth development, Rt. Hon. Friday Osanebi, the Deputy Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the March 2023 gubernatorial elections, has earmarked a sum of twenty million naira for the registration of eligible candidates for the 2024 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The announcement was made today by Idi Presley, the Principal Secretary to Rt. Hon. Osanebi. Presley revealed that the registration process, initiated last week, is progressing seamlessly, with the deadline set for the last day of the registration period.

Expressing Osanebi’s generosity, Presley emphasized that the Deputy Governorship candidate has directed the removal of any bottlenecks or restrictions in the registration process. This directive aims to ensure that every eligible applicant of Ndokwa origin, including those residing outside of Ndokwa Nation, will be able to register for the UTME exams without facing any unnecessary obstacles.

Presley further disclosed that, following the completion of the registration process, Osanebi has instructed the organization of special tutorials to prepare the students for the exams. In a unique initiative, the candidate with the highest score from each of the three Local Government Areas (LGA) in Ndokwa Nation will automatically be included in the ongoing Osanebi Scholarship Programme upon their admission into their chosen institutions.

Rt. Hon. Friday Osanebi has been a consistent advocate for education, youth development, and women empowerment over the years. His latest initiative to support JAMB enrollment and provide scholarships demonstrates his unwavering commitment to uplifting the educational standards in Ndokwa Nation.
